I didn’t think a run club was for me until I joined Crook AC in 2021, inclusive Club regardless of speed or ability. Always feel part of the team.

I Joined in May 2022 with a goal of improving my Parkrun times. Some members are faster, some members are slower, but the support and welcome from all was (and still is) fantastic.

I joined the club in October 2023 after months of persuasion. I didn’t think a running club was my kind of thing, but my only regret is that I didn’t join sooner. In the 6 months of being at the club, not only has my fitness drastically improved, but I’ve met some friends who live nearby that I now run with socially, which helps keep me motivated.

I joined Crook in January 2023. The club was incredibly welcoming, l felt at ease very quickly. During my time l have not only improved my running, by quite a bit! but have a whole new supportive and encouraging group of friends. Its a fantastic club and one l feel proud to be part of.

I joined the club in 2019, I didn't know anyone prior to joining, I've since made friends for life
