Proudest moment as a Crook AC Member: What I particularly enjoy about running with Crook AC is the wide range of ages and abilities we have here so whoever joins us always has someone to putting on the Crook vest and representing such a great club

How/why did you end up joining the club: When I retired I became a couch potato and was 15 1/2 stone and couldn’t fasten my shoe laces. So I decided to start running again. Walking then jogging around Bishop when I met 4 runners who said why don’t u join our club to which I answered I am not good enough they replied you don’t have to be good, the club has all standards of runners who become good runners in their age group. I decided to join and realised it was the best thing I ever did I lost weight and enjoyed my running being part of this brilliant club
