What do you enjoy about Crook AC: The support and encouragement from everyone we all look out for one another
What’s your favourite Race?: NEHL XC has to be my favourite races fantastic day out with everyone supporting each other and so cheap for lots of fixtures.
Proudest moment as a Crook AC Member: My proudest moment has to be my 5 year old son Jack doing he’s parkruns every week without fail and enjoying them. But also being the ladies captain while the ladies have been promoted from division 3 to division 2 in the NEHL XC this season 23/24.
How/why did you end up joining the club: I used to run with my sister in law Laura occasionally just to keep fit, she used to say all the time I should join but my reply would always be “I just don’t have time” haha how that’s changed I now don’t have time for anything else but haha!! I then got my sister Claire, dad Phil and partner Adam to join and we all haven’t looked back. The improvement we have all had over the years and that is all down to the wonderful people in this crook AC family as we call it. My 11 year old daughter Lucy and 5 year old son Jack also run (can’t persuade my 14 year old son Ryan though) so yes we find the time for the things we enjoy.
